On February 3rd, all the students from Years 5 and 6 watched the musical ‘The Magic Shop’ in our big auditorium. The background was very creative as the two actors could easily change it. It was a shop with a shelf filled with books and a beanbag. The first and only scene was a shop filled with books and other magic items. The actor was playing the role of a boy called Marc and the actress played four people called Chapati, India, Coco and Mrs. Mariany.

In the play the boy Marc said that his life was boring and he wanted to learn magic, so he went to a magic shop that was owned by Mrs. Mariany. But before he could do that, he met Chapati, then India, and after that Coco, but his goal was to meet Mrs. Mariany to learn magic. Later on, Marc finally met her and learned that everything in life is magical and the most important thing is to believe in yourself.

After the musical, the two actors answered all of our questions.

All in all, we think that the musical was very creative and entertaining. We liked it a lot.
